Karen Wolownik has been a Pediatric Heme/Onc/BMT nurse for more than 20 years. She has served as BMT Coordinator, Clinical NP and Clinical Nurse Specialist. As an educator, she provides Continuing Education Programs to the nursing staff at Westchester Medical Center and disease/treatment information to the patients and families. Karen serves on the Executive Nursing Committee of the Pediatric Blood & Marrow Transplant Consortium, and holds certifications by the Oncology Nursing Society as a Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse and by the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses as a Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Instructor.  In her spare time, Karen enjoys time outdoors with her husband and 3 children.
