Meg Sturhahn has worked in pediatric oncology for more than ten years. She received her nursing degree from New York University and worked as a registered nurse in the Pediatric Step Down Unit at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She went on to purse her advanced practice degree in Pediatric Acute Care with a focus in pediatric oncology and critical care at the University of Pennsylvania. She worked as a Nurse Practitioner in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at MSKCC for 4 years before joining the pediatric oncology team at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital as a Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Co-Coordinator in 2018. Meg is certified by the Oncology Nursing Society as a Certified Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse. Her interests include the multi-system complexity of bone marrow transplant, research therapies in pediatric oncology patients, and the critical care management of pediatric oncology patients. In her free time, Meg enjoys spending time with her husband and five children, traveling, cooking, and reading.
