Suzanne Braniecki, PhD. is a New York State licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in pediatric neuropsychology, with over 15 years of experience in the clinical treatment and research of sickle cell

disease and pediatric cancer. Dr. Braniecki has been involved in research on the neuropsychological functioning of children with SCD with varying stroke risk levels, quality of life and pain management issues in children with sickle cell disease, post-traumatic stress symptoms in pediatric cancer survivors, and cognitive late effects of cancer treatment in pediatric cancer survivors. She is currently the director of the Neurocognitive Core of the ongoing sickle cell research project at WMC/NY Medical College. She is also currently conducting research in the Survivorship Clinic examining cognitive late effects.
