The Samfund

The SamFund is a non-profit organization designed to help young adults ages 17-39, recover from the devastating financial impact of cancer treatment. They provide financial, legal and work assistance.

The Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund

The Brenda Mehling Cancer Fund supports patients ages 18-40 undergoing cancer treatment. Provides financial assistance with daily needs not covered by insurance.

Allyson Whitney Foundation, Inc

Advocates for the interests of young adults with rare cancers. Their mission is to improve the quality of life as well as emotional support for patients. Financial grants can be awarded for young adults between the ages of 15- 35, undergoing treatment and a resident/citizen of the USA.

This Star Won't Go Out

Provides financial assistance for patients ages 0-26, in the form of a grant (maximum, $2000 usually for rent or mortgage or other urgent bills. Wait list is 2-3 months. Foundation was started on proceeds of sale of the book, “This Star Won’t Go Out”.

Children's Cancer Recovery

The Children’s Cancer Recovery Foundation helps families with financial difficulties during cancer treatment. They also offer camp scholarships and Bear-able Gifts.
